This model was derived from a single word: EVOLVE. It portrays this concept utilizing a specific example. The base is comprised of a book made of bark and paper. It then morphs into a tree of branches and twigs which grows, circles around, and transforms into a wooden chair.

Evolve means to develop gradually, especially from a simple to a more complex form. The cyclical display of how humanity has learned to develop the resources around them is evident in the evolution of tree to paper, paper to book, book to wood, and finally wood to an iconic chair, which is representative specifically of evolution in the design world.
