lewis family home
This residential design utilizes neutral colored fabrics and paint, numerous windows, and an open concept floor plan to integrate nature into the Lewis Family Home. Additionally, a certain amount of rustic finishes and farmhouse style furniture and cabinetry were implemented to complete this old style, yet “homey” feeling. The children’s bedrooms and master bedroom each have their own side of the house so as to serve their separate purposes of quiet relaxation and energetic creativity. These two areas are separated by a large living room and kitchen to reinforce the value of family and fellowship through hospitality. The mud and laundry rooms connect to the garage and spacious back porch in order to serve as a filter between the dirt and outdoor elements and the cleanliness of the interior. The home also includes a plethora of storage space to keep it looking neat and organized. Indeed, this design reflects the values of friends, family, and comfort by creating a hospitable, tidy residence, but more importantly, a lifelong family home.
